Functional changes C-PTSD patients as a result of volume loss
The significant loss of multiple brain regions results in a dramatic loss in brain functionality. Additionally, the heightened function of the amygdala and lack of function in the frontal lobe results in a major change in the behavior of C-PTSD patients.
