Graphing y=x2y = -x^2 by Plotting Points

To graph the quadratic equation y=x2y = -x^2, select integer values for xx, substitute them into the equation, and evaluate to find yy. When substituting, first square the xx value, then apply the negative sign. Plotting the resulting ordered pairs and connecting them with a smooth curve produces a downward-opening parabola.
