Greenberg's (1993) Study on Procedural Justice and Employee Theft
Greenberg's 1993 experiment examined students who were paid for a task. Students who received only a curt, uninformative explanation of the pay rate took more money than they were told they deserved more often than students who received extensive explanations, demonstrating the importance of procedural justice in organizations.
