Group Counseling in Creating a Successful Post-College Transition in Students with Level 1 ASD
Group counseling and social skills groups allow students with Level 1 ASD to meet peers with similar challenges. In order to achieve the highest level of success, there should be a limit on the number of individuals allowed in each group, a proper screening process, and the implementation of group rules that best help reduce social anxiety.
