Histogram
A histogram is a graphical tool used during preliminary analyses to evaluate the distribution and shape of a single variable. By plotting the frequency of different scores, researchers can visually assess key characteristics of the data—such as whether the distribution is unimodal or skewed—which helps them understand what their descriptive statistics represent in real-world terms.
