2 types of HTML tags, first, Structural tags create a block on the page. Anything that comes after a structural tag, will be in a new block. Examples include the paragraph tag (<p> </p>) or the header tag (<header> </header>). There are considerably more structural tags than phrasing tags. Second, a phrasing, or inline element. It does not create a new block, but does provide some meaning to the text inside the element. For example, to make a word bolded, you would include the inline tag, <strong> </strong> to emphasize any words. Also, some tags are self closing, for example, an image is an image. It can not have an element inside of it, so it does not have a closing </img> tag. 


HTML Tags

1) The doctype declaration tells the browser which type of document to expect. 
2) The entire page goes between <html></html> tags.
3) <head></head> tags contain information about the page and links to additional required files, but nothing inside this tag gets displayed in the browser window, except the title, which is displayed on the tab in the browser.
4) There are a number of different <meta> tags that can appear on web pages. This is telling the browser what character set is expected is required. UTF-8 is the most common.
5)The body tags contain all content displayed in the browser window.


Required Elements for HTML

It refers to a hypertext markup language. The hypertext part is the links, or in other words, the anchor tags. These special tags allow us to link any html document to any other html document. Links can link to documents on other websites, other documents on our own website, or even specific locations within an html page. There are 2 types of HTML tags which are structural (block) and phrasing tabs (inline).

Markup language HTML is always tied in with CSS. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) refers to the different layouts a website has to offer, this includes, color, font, and spacing. It adds style to websites and makes it unique from other websites. 


The start of the internet was in the 1950s. First, only scientists and researchers used it to communicate during the cold war. Then In 1973, Robert Kahn and Vinton Cerf proposed a way to interconnect the many networks, which included satellite networks that differed from the telephone lines that the ARPANET used. Thus, TCP/IP was created and the Internet was born. People no longer had to communicate through a single network after this was created.
