Hypotheses in a One-Sample tt-Test

In a one-sample tt-test, the null hypothesis assumes that the true population mean (μ\mu) is exactly equal to the hypothetical comparison mean (μ0\mu_0), written as μ=μ0\mu = \mu_0. The alternative hypothesis states that the population mean differs from the hypothetical mean, denoted as μeqμ0\mu eq \mu_0.
