Illogical Remarks
Disorganized thinking can be exhibited through blatantly illogical remarks, in which a person draws a flawed conclusion from unrelated or invalid premises. For example, a person might reason that because Fenway Park is in Boston, and they live in Boston, they must live at Fenway Park.

Disorganized speech
A clinician is speaking with a patient who says, 'I need to get my prescription, but the pharmacy is painted blue. Blue is the color of the ocean, and I've always wanted to be a sailor. Sailors have to tie knots, and my shoelaces are untied.' Which cognitive symptom does this statement best illustrate?
