Exercise is a widely used and effective technique for managing stress, benefiting both physical and mental health. Both aerobic (long-duration) and anaerobic (short-duration) exercise contribute to well-being. Evidence shows that individuals with higher physical fitness are not only more resilient to the harmful effects of stress but also recover from it more rapidly.
