Induced Consumption in the Simplified Model

Induced consumption is the portion of consumption spending that varies directly with the level of aggregate income or output. In the simplified multiplier model, it is represented by the term c1Yc_1Y in the aggregate demand equation, where c1c_1 is the marginal propensity to consume and YY is the level of income.
