Influence of Attitudes on Taste Perception

People's attitudes toward a food product can be associated with how they judge its taste. For example, people with more positive attitudes toward reduced-fat foods are more likely to rate foods labeled as reduced fat as tasting better than people with less positive attitudes toward those products.
