Insufficiency of Model Size Scaling for AGI

While scaling laws are a fundamental principle in the development of Large Language Models, simply increasing the model size is not considered a sufficient strategy on its own to achieve Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). This indicates that achieving AGI will likely require breakthroughs beyond just scaling up current model architectures and parameters.
