Interpreting a Consumer's Spending Possibilities

A consumer's spending on two forms of entertainment, 'cinema tickets' and 'nights out', is limited by a fixed budget. This limitation is represented graphically by a straight line connecting two points: one at which the consumer can afford a maximum of 24 cinema tickets and zero nights out, and another at which they can afford a maximum of 15 nights out and zero cinema tickets. Analyze this graphical representation. In your analysis, explain what the two endpoints of the line reveal about the consumer's situation, and what the slope of the line signifies in terms of the choices the consumer must make.
