Interpreting Soviet Economic Growth

Between 1928 and the late 1980s, the Soviet Union's economy, which was centrally planned, grew consistently. Its GDP per capita started at about one-third of Argentina's and eventually surpassed it. Additionally, discuss the potential limitations of using only GDP per capita to evaluate the overall success and well-being of the Soviet economy during this time.
