Interpreting the Marginal Rate of Substitution

A consumer is at a point on their indifference curve where they are willing to trade a large amount of good Y for one additional unit of good X to remain equally satisfied. Explain what this implies about the relative marginal utilities of good X and good Y at that point. Why is the consumer willing to make such a trade?
