Interventionalist focus on behavioral and academic issues at a school. They observe the student and come up with a plan to help reduce distractions and improve behavior and studies. Interventionalist are also able to take a student out of class to focus on specific academic problems as well as behavioral issues. They may take the student out of the class to give them a mental break. The break may consist of a physical (walk, catch etc.) or mental (card/board game) activity.
