Justification of the Optimal Consumption Bundle

A consumer's budget allows for a maximum purchase of 16 units of Good X or 15 units of Good Y. Their preferences are represented by standard downward-sloping, convex indifference curves. The consumer's optimal choice, which maximizes their satisfaction, is the bundle containing 10 units of Good X and 6 units of Good Y. Explain in detail why any other affordable bundle on the same budget line, for example (4 units of X, 11.25 units of Y), must provide a lower level of satisfaction than the optimal bundle.
