Keynesian Assumption of Perfectly Elastic Supply

A core assumption in the Keynesian goods market model is that firms are prepared to supply any quantity of goods that is demanded at the current price level. This implies that aggregate demand becomes the primary determinant of the equilibrium level of output, as supply is assumed to passively adjust to meet demand without price changes.
