L.A. ‘Royal Velvet’ characteristics
Spikes in this type of English lavender have an upright pattern and they can be 4 inches long (10 cm). Blossoms are long-lasting and dark navy blue to dark violet in color. This type will bloom in late spring, usually once only, but if flowers after each bloom are trimmed it may bloom again.
- It can grow between 2 and 3 feet in height and spread (60 to 90 cm).
- Better to be planted 30 to 36 inches apart (75 to 90 cm).
