Imagine a small island community that fishes in a single, limited-size lagoon. Explain why the total daily fish catch might increase significantly when the community goes from one to five fishing boats, but increases by a much smaller amount when it goes from twenty to twenty-five fishing boats, assuming all boats and crews are identical.
