Despite research demonstrating that conversion therapy causes considerable harm—such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicide—the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) community has historically rarely acknowledged these harms or the significant similarities between ABA and conversion therapy.
