Lender's Financial Loss in a Fully Financed Failed Project

When a borrower has invested none of their own funds into a project, the entire financial loss from the project's failure falls upon the lender. If the project fails and the loan is not repaid, the borrower does not lose any personal capital, while the lender loses their investment.
