Limitations of Legal Protections Against Discrimination

Legal frameworks designed to prevent discrimination have significant limitations. Firstly, not all marginalized groups receive equal protection under the law, with some, like transgender people, often lacking legal recourse. Secondly, these laws are frequently unable to address modern, subtle forms of discrimination that are difficult to prove.
