Subtle Discrimination
Much of modern discrimination is expressed in subtle forms, such as selective inhospitality, rather than overt acts. These behaviors often evade legal consequences because they can easily be attributed to other causes. While cultural shifts are slowly fostering recognition and control of such actions, this change is a gradual process.
