- Experiencing shortness of breath, fatigue, and related effects caused by damage in repiratory systems;
- Experiencing limited gastrointestinal function causing intestinal pain, vomiting, and nausea that have lingered for months 
- Experiencing headaches, dizziness, memory lapses and mental health conditions. “brain fog” that can substantially limit brain function, concentrating, and thinking. 
- Experiencing stuffy nose, loss of taste/smell or distorted sense of taste/smell

Based on the Guidance made by U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in 2022,  "Long COVID" can be referred as the post COVID-19 symptoms that last for weeks, months or years :
- a physical impairment including any physiological disorder or condition affecting one, or more body systems 
- a mental impairment including any mental or psychological disorder such as an emotional or mental illness.

People whose long COVID qualifies as a disability are entitled to the same protections from discrimination as any other person with a disability under the ADA, Section 504, and Section 1557.
