Manufacturing Cost Function

For a business that makes and sells a product, the cost function represents the total cost to produce xx units. It is calculated by multiplying the cost to manufacture each unit by the number of units manufactured (xx), and then adding the fixed costs. The formula is: C(x)=(extcostperunit)x+extfixedcostsC(x) = ( ext{cost per unit}) \cdot x + ext{fixed costs}
