In Farid al-Din Attar's Elahi Nameh, the section dedicated to praising the Prophet Muhammad (In Praise of the Prophet, Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him...) exhibits significant textual discrepancies across historical manuscripts. The manuscript in the Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror Library in Istanbul contains an extensive version consisting of 322 verses, starting with lines that depict Muhammad as the leader of both worlds and the master of Adam's descendants. Conversely, the British Museum manuscript contains a heavily abbreviated version of only 17 verses for this section, starting with a focus on his exalted status among Arabs.
