Mesophiles

Psychrotrophs thrive in cooler environments of about 4°C to 25°C. 4 °C is the temperature of most refrigerators, so psychrotrophs are commonly responsible for spoiling food.

Psychrophiles love cold environments. Their optimum growth temperature is around 15°C, but they can exist within the ranges of 0°C-20°C.
