Methods to maintain a circadian rhythm during the COVID-19 pandemic

Set up a routine

  • wake up at the same time every day
  • go outdoors every day, especially in mornings
  • spend at least 2 hours by a window
  • set times for regular activities each day, such as talking with a friend or cooking
  • exercise every day
  • eat meals at the same time every day, even if they're small
  • avoid naps during daylight
  • avoid bright light in the evening, especially blue light
