Mischel's Principle of Situational Consistency
Walter Mischel proposed that while behavior appears inconsistent when viewed across different situations, it exhibits significant consistency when examined within similar contexts. He found that an individual's actions in a particular type of situation are likely to be repeated in comparable situations, and this consistency also holds true over time.
