Models of substance use disorder and Personality Disorder Comorbidity

It has been shown that there is an overlap between personality disorder and substance use disorder criteria. This significantly raises the possibility of the comorbid nature of the two disorders. In looking for this comorbid nature, it was found that there can be substance-induced personality symptoms, however, it was determined that a change in personality disorder symptoms was not associated with recovery from SUDs.
