Concept
Modifying Behaviors and Beliefs with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
This is the fourth step of cognitive behavioral therapy. In this step, the therapist will assist the patient with modifying negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By adopting positive behaviors and thought patterns, the patient can alter their perspective. The patient can then employ these skills in future situations.
