Comorbidity is the simultaneous existence of two or more diseases, illnesses, or other medical conditions.

Morbidity rate / morbidity frequency is a measurement of morbidity that is primarily used in epidemiology or actuarial science. Measuring morbidity can refer to either the incidence rate of a disease / condition, or the prevalence of a disease / condition that occurs within a specified population and time range.

Morbidity is a term that describes the patient as being in a diseased state, disabled, or in otherwise poor health due to any unspecified cause. It can also be used as a term to define the existence of any form of disease, as well as used to measure the degree to which the disease affects the patient.

The health term, disorder, refers to a disruption to any bodily structure or function that is resultant from a disease. Disorders are specifically the abnormal functioning of a bodily system or structure.

(E.g., anxiety as a circumstantial condition results in the condition of an anxious state of health). In general, condition refers to the disruption of overall health.
