Nefazodone's efficacy on Major Depressive Disorder in patients with childhood trauma
After 12 weeks of administering nefazodone to patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and that had reported forms of childhood trauma, the effects of this antidepressant alone was not more effective than psychotherapy alone. Moreover, only 32.9% of patients with MDD and reported childhood trauma achieved remission of depression with the antidepressant alone after the study.
