Concept
Network Hypertext Knowledge Structure
Network hypertext is a type of hypertext that connects information using a wide range of criteria for links, such as cause-effect, category-example, item-definition, linear, and hierarchical connections. Unlike strictly hierarchical hypertext, network hypertext offers a more flexible and multidimensional way of navigating through information, allowing users to explore connections and relationships in a more nuanced way. As a result, network hypertext typically has more links in total and a greater variety of link types, providing a more comprehensive and interconnected presentation of information.
