New Active Procrastination Scale

NAPS was created by Choi and Moran (2009) to assess levels of active procrastination. There is a version revised for Chinese speakers by Ni, Li, Xu and Choi (2011). There are 15 items assessing 4 dimentions of active procrastination

  • outcome satisfaction
  • preference for pressure
  • intentional decision
  • ability to meet dealines

Some items will need reverse coding. High scores indicate that an individual is likely to be an active procrastinator.
