Observational Learning: Avoiding a Hot Stove

An example of observational learning is when an individual learns to avoid touching a hot stove after seeing someone else get burned. This illustrates how observing negative consequences (vicarious punishment) teaches avoidance behavior without direct personal experience of the harm.
