Observational Learning: Chimpanzee Juice Box Study

An example of observational learning in animals is a study where chimpanzees learned a more effective way to drink juice. One group of chimps, who initially used an inefficient dipping method with a straw, observed a second group that sucked the juice directly through the straw. After this observation, the first group adopted the more efficient sucking method, demonstrating they learned by modeling the other chimps' behavior.
