A firm's profit-maximizing choice of wage and employment occurs where its isoprofit curve is tangent to the 'no-shirking' wage curve. Explain in economic terms why a point where the isoprofit curve intersects (crosses) the no-shirking wage curve cannot represent the maximum possible profit.
