OSLC Approach

Steps to the OSLC Approach:

  1. Observation of child’s interaction with family and peers in a naturalistic environment.
  2. Detailed behavioral records are created to code child’s behavior with minimal observer influence.
  3. Micro-detailed social interactions are recorded moment to moment each day in real time.
  4. Recorded data is analyzed for action-reaction pattern recognition between the behaviors of individuals to generate a hypothesis about social influence.
  5. Variabilities found are tested to find differences in aggression and antisocial behavior.
  6. Methodological and statistical issues are addressed.
