OSLC Approach
Steps to the OSLC Approach:
- Observation of child’s interaction with family and peers in a naturalistic environment.
- Detailed behavioral records are created to code child’s behavior with minimal observer influence.
- Micro-detailed social interactions are recorded moment to moment each day in real time.
- Recorded data is analyzed for action-reaction pattern recognition between the behaviors of individuals to generate a hypothesis about social influence.
- Variabilities found are tested to find differences in aggression and antisocial behavior.
- Methodological and statistical issues are addressed.
