Instead of presenting which portion to report immediately after a visual stimulus is shown, the delayed method waits a bit. Performance is decreased significantly as the delay increases.

Delayed partial report method

After viewing something, respondents are asked to report a portion of what was shown. They are only told what portion to report after the stimuli is gone.
