Pick Some (a.k.a Top Task)
“Pick Some” is more like a technique that could be applied to the Forced Ranking Scale. When researchers have more than 10, especially more than 20 items for participants to pick, they could randomize the items and ask participants to pick a fixed subset. This type of scale could get very similar results as the Forced Ranking Scale but cost less time.
