Pilot evaluation of a mindfulness-based intervention to improve quality of life among individuals who sustained traumatic brain injuries - Results

  • PCRS: scores from subjects and their significant others revealed a moderate relationship. This showed that the limitations participants noticed about themselves were corroborated by relatives.
  • SF-36: The score of the intervention group improved compared to the score for the control group (Mental Health). The score for physical health was unchanged.
  • BDI-II: Depression symptoms were almost halved in the intervention group.
  • GSI, PSS, CIQ: unchanged after the intervention
  • PSDI, HLC: approached statistical significance
