Placelessness and the Fulfillment of Seeking in Attar's Mokhtar Nameh (Chapter 4, Poem 19)

In Chapter 4, Poem 19 of Attar's Mokhtar Nameh, the poet describes the ultimate spiritual destination as a realm that transcends all physical dimensions ('neither descent nor ascent,' 'neither body nor direction'). Rather than being an empty void, this transcendent, placeless state is characterized by absolute completeness. The spiritual seeker finds that everything they have earnestly searched for is perfectly realized and eternally present within this divine reality.
