Possible Link Between Homicidal Tendencies and Schizoid Personality Disorder- Case Study
This case study follows Mark, who has very aloof and weird tendencies according to friends and family. He experiences psychotic episodes due to his Schizoid Personality Disorder. He also suffers greatly from depression. It is believed that Mark was riddled with violent tendencies after experiencing financial loss. To avoid the humiliation, he decided to attempt to murder his wife and commit suicide. He failed his first attempt and later, he tried again. He was unfortunately able to murder his wife, but was stopped before killing himself. He was later in prison where he received antidepressants. Later into his sentence, after showing great signs of improvement, he committed suicide.
