Prevalence of Psychological Disorders
A key area of study in psychopathology involves identifying the prevalence, or frequency, of different mental disorders within the general population. While rates can fluctuate based on demographic factors and diagnostic criteria, certain categories of disorders, such as anxiety and depressive disorders, are consistently found to be among the most common.
