Prompt Notice of Confirmed Job Delays

When an electrical contractor confirms a setback—such as a permit issue, a hidden site condition, or a late material shipment—the customer should be told right away. Early notice gives the customer time to revise schedules, coordinate other trades, and adjust spending before dependent decisions are final. If the contractor waits until the delay is obvious on its own, a routine update can become an avoidable breach of trust.
