To add a relation node to the map, users will select the relation node to display that information. The title will introduce the relationship, and the content will expand on it.

After you click the pencil icon, a sidebar on the left-hand side of the map will provide a list of child node types. Select which one you need based on the information you are proposing.

To add a question to the map, users will select the question child node to display the question. A user can provide choice specific feedback for each answer choice.

To add a snippet of code to the map, users will select the child code node to display it. The title will introduce the code snippet and the body of the node will contain the code snippet.

To add a reference to the map, users will select the reference node to open the draft. The title of the node should correspond to the title of your reference source while the body of the node contains the reference citation.

To add an original idea to the map that is not adapted from any external source, users will select the idea node. The title of the node will introduce it and the content will expand on the idea.

To propose a child concept node on 1Cademy, select the concept node option. The title should introduce the concept, and the content should provide its definition or explanation.

Both a concept and a relation node can display a relationship between two or more concepts, however, the difference between the two lies in what results from the relationship. 
- If nothing new is produced, then it is a relation node. 
- If something new is produced or if the concepts have been modified in any way, then it is a concept node.
