Psychological effect of COVID-19 on youth quarantined or isolated: moving forward
These findings can be useful in determining how quarantine can best be implemented in a way that can better protect the emotional and physical well-being of children. It can also help caregivers to understand their children’s psychological states and help them know how to talk to their children about taking care of themselves during the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lastly, this study can help professionals to know what signs to look for in children to help them determine when interventions are necessary in order to ensure that children receive psychological care when necessary.
