Cognitive psychology attempts to explain how and why people think the way they do by studying the interactions among human thinking, emotion, creativity, language, and problem solving, in addition to other cognitive processes.

Cognitive psychology is an area of psychology that focuses on studying cognitions, or thoughts, and their relationship to our experiences and actions.
